This novel, like a race car, takes off in a roar of emotion: one moment it rushes the reader into an abyss of unscrupulousness, where cruel heroes know no mercy, the next it suddenly slows on a sharp turn, revealing unexpected flashes of nobility. And at that moment, you lose your bearings. It's no longer clear who is the predator and who is the hunted prey, who is master of destinies and who is merely a puppet in the hands of fate. The world turns upside down with each chapter, and the characters repeatedly break their masks, revealing what they hid even from themselves.

Honestly, by the time I got to the third sex scene, I assumed it was a hardcore erotic novel and put it down. But after a while, I got bored and picked it up again. I was hooked! And once I understood the gist of what was happening, the characters' motives, I couldn't put it down until the last page... And I kept trying to see what was at the end.

The characters are masterfully written; you almost become part of them. I hadn't connected with any of the characters until I felt the pain of one of them. My daughter and I assigned the female roles in the novel and started playing our own girly games, imitating the actions and monologues of the characters in "The Crown of Time." And it was an amazing experience!

Throughout the entire narrative, I couldn't shake the feeling of the authors' novelty. I'd call it a historical-fantasy mix. Everything is so twisted that initially inconspicuous nuances develop into significant plot twists, and seemingly simple characters suddenly reveal remarkable personalities!
